Obituary

Willie James Collins, Jr. was born to Christine and Willie Collins, Sr. on October 27, 1955 in York, Alabama.

The family moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1956. Here is where he had a musically inclined life. He enjoyed singing in the band and being the life of the party. However, his overall enjoyment was being around his family and friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Premel and George Hutchins; his father, Will J. Collins Sr.; stepfather, Lonnie Henderson; sister, Stephanie Simpson; son, Jarvis Collins and the mother of his children, Nanaette Wagner.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Christine Henderson; brother, Dales Henderson; daughter, Motich Wagner; son, Willie Wagner; grandchildren, Sha Diamond Wagner, Sha'Mari Reese, Jay'Len Wagner, Jahnova Wagner, Ja'Quari Wagner, Journey Wagner, Dynasti Wagner, Dy'Zaire Wagner, Da'Lyn Stroud, Dal'Lys Stroud, My'Aire Collins, Dai'Jha Collins and Witness Wagner; two great grandsons, A'lonte Jackson and Ameeko Hawkins; special cousin, Kazan, special friends, Shelia Wagner Taylor, Ricky Smoot, John Smoot Jr., Tyrone Smoot, Carletta, Deangela along with a host of other family and friends that loved him.
