Walter Mack Thomas

Walter Thomas, age 69, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 11, 1953 to Squire and Catherine Thomas. He departed this life on November 15, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio.  He accepted Christ in his life at an early age.

He attended Middletown City Schools. Walter performed in many talent shows with his group Precisions.  He had a passion for singing and dancing. He enjoyed barbecuing, playing basketball, fishing and horseshoes. Walter loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Walter attended Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church. He later joined True Victory Church of God in Christ, in Middletown, where he was a minister. He enjoyed preaching and running street meetings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Squire Thomas; daughters, Tambra and Demetria Davis; grandmothers, Cora Jean Riley and Deanna Mack and grandfather, Allen Phillips Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Catherine Thomas; two sons, Mikey Ivory (Denise) and Ricky Thomas (Cristy); two daughters, Tiffany Huff (Pernell) and Angela Hill (Cortez); two brothers, Calvin Thomas and James Thomas; one sister, Thelma Lee Davenport; and an Uncle Joseph Phillips, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and  a host of nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
