Valentina Pearson

Valentina Lampley Pearson was born on March 17, 1956 to the late Inellie and Richard Junior Lampley in Middletown, Ohio.  She was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday March 13, 2024, just shy of her 69th birthday. 

Our Mother provided life to six children. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and friend. She always had a good meal and a good story to tell. She was creative, always sewing, painting, crafting, crocheting, and designing jewelry. She was funny and confident. 

Our mother was a true Piscean with the love of water (she loved thunderstorms), earth (she could make anything grow), and sky (she loved to star gaze and dream of traveling). A dreamer in all her glory. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Inellie and Richard Junior Lampley; two brothers: Richard J. (Lamp) Lampley III and Edward F. (Forty) Lampley; sister: Hattie Mae Johnson; nephew: Damon Charles Johnson; grandson: Lamont Pearson and great-granddaughter: Destiny Thurman.

To cherish her memory she leaves behind six children: Crystal (Leo)-(Erwin) Reed, Atlanta, GA, Victor (Pepper) Pearson, Middletown, OH, Aaron (Sara) Pearson, Austin, TX, Rachael Pearson, Middletown, OH, Raveen Pearson, Middletown, OH, Easton Pearson, Middletown, OH; sisters: Elmeanie "Meme" Lampley, Denver, CO, Twania (Toni) Carr-Ferguson, Decatur, GA, and Elreathia (Cliffie) Lampley, Decatur, GA; thirteen grandchildren: Christopher "Chris" Thurman, Michael (Jordy) McCurdy, Jazamin (Jazz) McCurdy, Darean (Rain Dear) Reed, Malik Pearson, Mi'kaija Pearson, Lynnkiya Brown, Kaiden Teegarden, Charm-mene Hughley, Ethereal Hughley, Louis Eubanks, Anthony J'avon Pearson and Maya V. Pearson; three great-grandchildren: Khiyana Morey, Aaranii McCurdy and  Aairess McCurdy; partner: Kenneth Fraizer, Middletown, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
