Celebrating the Life Of "Mr. T"
Tony Pilgrim also known to his family and friends as "Mr. T". He was born October 18, 1958 to the union of Johnnie and Harriet (Broyles) Pilgrim.
Tony was educated in the Hamilton City School System. He joined the United States Army in 1978. Tony worked for the City of Hamilton and other numerous jobs. He was also known as the fix it man, but his passion was fixing cars. You would always catch Tony working on somebody's car. It was never a dull moment around Tony.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Jonnie and Harriet Pilgrim, three brothers Bobby McGuire, Lamar Pilgrim and Mike Pilgrim. Two sisters Alice Winstead and Yvonne Givens and one daughter Tamara Dean.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons. Tony Pilgrim II, Brandon Dean and two daughters Natasha Pilgrim, Shamira Pilgrim, one sister, Rowena (Charles) Brown and two brothers, William (Alma) McGuire, Larry Pilgrim. Three sister-in-laws Karmella Pilgrim, Linda Pilgrim and Diane McGuire and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many others that love and miss him.
