Toni Collier

Toni Collier was born February 5, 1953 to James Arthur Simmons and Cora Lee Simmons in Hamilton, OH.   She departed this earthly life on June 24, 2022.  Toni married Ernest Collier in 1972 and was married for over 35 years.  She worked at Golden Years Nursing Home for over three years  as a State Tested Nurse’s Aide (STNA) as well as Wright Burton for over three years.

She graduated from Garfield Senior High School in 1971.  Toni obtained her Associate’s degree from Southwestern College in 2012.

Toni loved to shop, cook and do creative art work. She also loved spending time with her loved ones and friends.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, James Arthur Simmons and Cora Lee Simmons; her husband, Ernest Collier; her brothers, Terri Lee Simmons and Calvin James Simmons and her two sons, Damon Collier and Ernest Collins Collier.

Toni leaves behind to cherish her memories: two sisters, Flossie Ann Thompson and Hilda Simmons; two sons, Jerome (Tina Smiley) Collier and Raameece (Inuka) Collier; grandchildren, Anthony Barefield, Keziah Hendricks, Nadeige Collier (mother, Alisia Hendricks), DeErnest Collins, Johnathan Prather, Caiden Boyd, Amarayl Watkins, Caileb Collier, Marcel Clark, Aliza Bryant and Brooklyn Bryant; four great grandchildren; a special niece, Amber Lee Lawson; a special Nephew, Caileb James Simmons; a special sister friend, Zell Williams; a special godson, Damekeeonnus Hamilton along with lots of other loving family and friends.
