Toby Rivers, Jr.

Toby Rivers Jr. (affectionately) known as “Treal” was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 20, 1983. He was delivered into this life from the union of the late Doris (Rice) Rivers and Toby Rivers Sr. “Treal” earned his heavenly wings on November 10, 2020.
From an early age you could tell there was something special about him. His charm, charisma, looks, talent, vocabulary and especially his smile was so contagious that he drew you into his world and you came with open arms. Most days you would find him fishing, working on and riding his mini bikes or playing with his children. His musical abilities were also evident early in life, appearing on stage with his Father for the first time in middle school singing, “I’m Ready” by Tevin Campbell. “Treal” started rapping and proceeded to use the whole world as his stage, performing literall anywhere & everywhere he went. Everyone believed he should have had a career in music. “Treal” had recently used his voice and talent to support the Black Lives Matter Movement by recording a song withhis Father called “Hands Up Don’t Shoot. ”A blessing occurred when he met Dr. Vanessa Enoch. She was inspired by his life story and made it possible for the song and video to be completed and used in her 2020 Congressional Campaign. Her continued support is still evident even after his passing. “Treal” was a Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was also a spiritual man who loved the Lord. He was outgoing and very Family oriented with a style all of his own! His memory will be cherished forever!
