Shirley Ann Williams was born February 28, 1939 to Caroline Smith and Holbert Lewis Spicer in Hamilton, OH.
She was educated in the Hamilton Public School System; always ranking in section one for grading purposes.
She married David Williams in 1956 and to this union two children were born.
She worked in the retail industry several years before attending the Dayton School of Practical Nursing and graduated in 1986. She retired from nursing at Otterbein Nursing Home. Shirely was very active politically in her younger years and was a governor’s delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1972 in Miami Beach, Fl.
Shirely passed away December 6, 2023 at Optimized Senior Living in Lebanon, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, David Michael.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her loving daughter, Kimball Elaine; her stepsisters; the Shepherd family from Hamilton; the Williams family from Middletown and special friends, Patricia Hurd, Dean Clay, Deannee Bass, Jennifer Carter and many others.
