Rosie May Brown Jackson born to the late Jerry William Brown and Abby Gail Williams-Brown on November 27, 1927. Rosie departed the busy walks of this world Wednesday, November 17, 2021 and was delivered into the hands of our great Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Jackson, daughter Sandra James, mother, father, three sisters: Ethel, Jerry Lee and Ruth; and three brothers: Marion, Thomas and John.
Rosie graduated from the Hamilton public schools. Rosie was raised in a Christian family home and grew up attending church in the old Pilgrim Baptist Church. Rosie grew up being a homemaker and loved taking care of her home.
Over the years, Rosie loved being involved with family events, enjoyed going to the BTW Community Center where she was a part of the Golden Girls and enjoyed hanging out with them. Some of her favorite times were gatherings with family, friends and just having fun.
Rosie leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Theresa (Rufus) Troutman, Cathy (William) Frazier of Hamilton; three sons, Cornell (Faith) Grady of Tucson, Arizona; Darrell (Thelma) Brown of Hamilton and Randy Grady of Dayton, Ohio; her brother Marvin (Gloria) Brown of California City, California, a special niece, Alexis Owens, grandchildren: Rufus, Shawn, Shannon, AJ, Brandy, Rico, Brandon, Ryan, LaTasha, Letha, Christina and Jordan, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
