Mr. Reginald Lee North, Sr., age 41 was born December 6, 1979 in Dayton, OH to the parents of Donella North and the late Robert “Bobby” Lee Minor, Jr. Reginald, affectionately known as “Reggie”, “Bud”, “Bear”, “Reg”, “Money” and “Roger” departed this life on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his home in Moraine, OH.
Reggie attended Patterson Co-op and Colonel White High School. Even without a high school diploma, Reggie landed a position at NCR using his keen math skills and technical abilities. He later earned his GED while doing a bid at Lebanon Correctional Institute. He was always an entrepreneur in spirit and later transformed his life from a street hustler to a legitimate businessman. Reggie's company of 6 years, North Logistics, received government contract awards with the United States Department of Defense.
Reggie was a video game enthusiast who loved to laugh and converse with friends and family about the good ole times they shared together. He held a special bond with his mother as they both anticipated one another's needs, spoke on the phone or seen each another almost every single day.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jewel (Dallas) and Willie Walter North; paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Minor Sr.; father, Robert “Bobby” Lee Minor Jr.; uncles, Danny North and Avery Lee Barrow, Sr. and cousin, Roytony “Tieon” North.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: 5 children, Cheyanne Jewel North, Dana Denise North, Reginald Lee North, Jr., Ann'Marie K North, Brielle LaToya Johnson and a bonus daughter, A'leonnah Lianne Taborn; 2 sisters, LaDeya Lynn North-Ivy and Bridgett LaRé Hatch; a close aunt, Denise North and uncle, Walter Lee North– all of Dayton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends too great in number to name.
