Nathaniel Greathouse

Nathaniel Greathouse was born to Johnny Greathouse and Exell Geathouse on May 17, 1953 in Sylacauga, Alabama. He was called home on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the age of 66 years old.

Nate, as he was affectionately known, grew up in Dayton, Ohio. He was a generous and kind spirited man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He moved to Connecticut where he founded Operation Motivation, Inc in 1991, where they go to schools, treatment centers, hospitals, colleges and youth centers with a message of recovery from dug, alcohol and other high risk behaviors.

At the age of 18, Nate received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost and was ordained an Elder in 2007 under Bishop Eugene Ringer.

Nate was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Greathouse.

He leaves to cherish his memory his six children; Latoshia (Edward) Polk, Shonta Greathouse, Nathaniel Greathouse, Jr., Monica Greathouse, Moses Greathouse and Abijah Greathouse; his mother Exell Greathouse; his siblings James Greathouse, Daniel Greathouse, Sr., Brenda (Robert) Fowler, Joseph "Tony" (Diana) Greathouse, Sr., Reginald (Willetta) Greathouse and Jamika Greathouse as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
