Nathan Lee Smyth was born on November 16, 1981 to Ronald Lee and Gladys Shyretta Guy, unexpectedly departed this life on April 29, 2023 at the age of 41.
Nathan was a 1999 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School. After high school he earned an auto mechanic certification as well as a barber's license. He was baptized and a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. He loved fishing, cooking, cars, and joking around with family. There was never a day that he didn't have a smile or say, "I love you!" He had a big heart and would help anyone in need.
Nathan was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Gladys Guy; brother: Ryan Guy,; maternal grandparents: Trenton and Mary Gladys Smyth; paternal grandparents: William and Mayme Etchison; uncle: Robert Gay Jr. and cousins: Damion Gay and Stephan Shyne.
He is survived by his fiancé: Tyeisha Taylor; daughters: Aaliyah Johnson and Nakhiah Smyth; brother: Michael Smyth (Tiana); sisters: Monee Townes and Rhonda Crocker (Elisha) of San Diego, CA; uncles: Raymond McDonald Sr. and William Etchison; aunts: Mary Gay, Carliss Burrage (Irvin), Joyce Daniels (Jerry), Cheryl McCleskey, Yvonne Mattison, Yvette Smith and Tuesday Etchison; bonus brother: Danny, and host of cousins, nieces, and nephews
