Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson was born on April 25, 1970 to Herman and Lether Anderson in Hamilton, Ohio. He grew up in Forest Park where he would meet lifelong friends, attend Greenhills High School, but later graduate from Hamilton High School in 1989. 

In 1991, he joined the United States Navy to serve his country and later returned home to pursue his personal interests. Michael enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends in his spare time and recently taken interest in investing in real estate which grew into a passion that he shared with his son Maliik Anderson. 

Michael was someone that you could always count on and would show up with a smile whenever you needed him. Whether he was being an amazing father, loving son, wonderful brother, loyal friend, supportive uncle, funny nephew, or all-around genuine person, he was a joy to be around. Although quiet at times, he found a way to connect with people that made them laugh and look forward to the next time they would see him. 

Today we celebrate the life and passing of our beloved Michael Anderson. He was a true fighter that held on to the end. Michael transitioned peacefully on January 23, 2023 surrounded by love from his family and one of his closest friends by his side. 

Michael was preceded in death by his son, Torrey Johnson.
