Mary Lynch Obituary

Mary Louise Lynch “Shorty” was born in Brundidge, Alabama on January 27, 1935 to Mary Alice Flowers and Clem H Davis. Both her parents, brothers Henry Jr. and Donnie Flowers, sister Alice (Henry) Flowers, sister-in-law Barbara Flowers, and sons Daryl and Derrick Lynch preceded her in death. Mary graduated from Roosevelt High School in Dayton, Ohio. Mary worked at University of Dayton, before she gained a position at Elder-Beerman where she later retired. She then worked at Katie’s Hallmark for years.

Shorty enjoyed a good time, laughing, and dancing, if you knew Shorty, you knew her signature moves. She also enjoyed a good gospel concert; she was a devoted supporter of many gospel choirs. Mary loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with God.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory; Dwayne (Leeann) Lynch, her devoted son, Jesse Lynch Jr. (Deceased: Karen Lynch); a loving daughter, KaSheila Turner; brother, Terry T Flowers; nephews, Norman Flowers, William Flowers, Terry Tyrone Flowers, Eric Vanture Flowers and a host of nieces, granddaughters, great grandchildren, friends, Augustine, America, Bertha, Coraleen, Eloise and Janet as well as family and friends throughout Alabama and Dayton.
