Mary Juanita Finley

Juanita, as she was lovingly known, was born in Robertson County, Tennessee on September 2, 1924 to George Robert Terry and Butly Mae Rouse. On Thursday, September 29, 2022, God commissioned His holy host of angels to escort her home. At the age of 98, she made her transition from earth to glory.

After dedication of 33 years she retired from Middletown Regional Hospital. She was a member of Lily of the Valley Eastern Star Chapter #55. She enjoyed sewing and gardening in her leisure time.

Juanita was a strong and devoted woman of God and life-long member of New Era Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio. Her devotion was limitless in the services she rendered. Ministries she served in were Sunday School, Missionary Society, Willing Workers Society, Nurses Guild and Youth Sponsors. She was serving as a Deaconess until her health began to fail her.

Preceded her in death were her parents, husband Clinton Ray Finley, brother Joe Wallace Chapman; daughter Bertha Wilson, two grandsons: Jeffery Lynn Terry and Robert Andre Terry.

Leaving to cherish and share her memory in love, are Willie L. Spearman, Jr., and Damita Jo Terry, grandchildren. A special great-grandchild Brian Graham, two great-grandchildren Willie Lee Spearman Ill and Xavier Terry and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of other relatives and many friends.
