Marilyn “Pat” Carter was born on April 26, 1948 to the late, John Robert and Lillie Griffin Croswell in Hamilton, OH. She joined Payne Chapel AME at a very young age.
Marilyn attended and graduated from Garfield High School. She also attended college shortly afterwards; starting her career in Retail Management at Rinks then on to JC Penny where she worked 33 years before retiring.
Her hobbies included cooking, gardening and her home.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents John Robert and Lille Croswell, a brother, Norman Croswell and a sister Jon Croswell.
Marilyn leaves to mourn her passing; three sisters, Janet Croswell of Hamilton, OH, Linda Broyles of Hamilton, OH and Betty Broyles Of Englewood, NJ; one brother, Ricky Broyles; special nieces and nephews, Karen, Thomas, Michael, LaKeycha, Diamond and Leon Broyles along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
