MariC'ona Shinea Thompson

MariC’ona Shinea Thompson was born July 19, 2002, in Dayton Ohio to Andriea Thompson and Amon Oglesby. She later moved to Georgia and attended Luella High School in McDonough, Georgia.

MariC’ona was her mother's rock. She wanted nothing more but to see her mother become successful for her and her siblings. She was inspired by her mother's accomplishments and aspired to become a nurse.  MariC’ona was a very bright young lady. She was her brother and sister's protector. She loved to crack jokes and keep everyone laughing. MariC’ona was very sensitive to the needs of others and would do anything to help anyone. She enjoyed taking selfies, caring for dogs and having fun. She was full of life and everyone's rollie.      

MariC’ona was preceded in death by her grandmother, Brenda Oglesby, great grandmothers Nina Thompson and Dorothy Spears, great grandfather Andrew Thompson, aunt, Joann Thompson and uncle, Kambon Jackson.

MariC’ona was a very devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Andriea Thompson; her father, Amon Oglesby; sisters and brother, Ari’Riona Thompson, Marion Thompson and Hannah Sharif of McDonough, GA.; grandmother, Sandra (Larry) Dawson, grandfather, Andrew (Donna)Thompson and grandmother, Leslie Thompson; aunts, Shawntavia Spears, Lequisha Shipp, Sha’Kiesha Thompson, Kesha and Tiesha of Dayton, OH; special cousins and best friends Kameron and Kambon Jackson Jr, John Jr and Ja’Shawn Jones, Sema’J Turner, Lakeya, Niyona, Perry Thompson; great aunt, Wanda Thompson, great uncle, Perry Thompson; cousins, CaMarrah Mason, MaCari and Chrisstiona Spears, Legend and Legacy White, James Turner, Ralph Myles, Keyona, Devonte, Daniesha Dixon, Kiesean, Lil Clayton, Lil Craig and Cierra Thompson, Lashawna, Siya, Luther, Quanecia, Perry, Craig, Clayton; special friend, Ty’teuana Williams along with a host of other family and friends.
