Margaret Henderson

Mrs. Margaret Henderson was born to Lewis and Emily (Golson) Quinn on October 27, 1929. Margaret departed this life on October 27, 2023. Surely God favored her, and we the family thank the Almighty Father for blessing us with her beautiful soul.

Margaret Quinn wed Harold Henderson Sr. on November 16, 1946 and to their union five children were born: Harold Henderson Jr. (Elizabeth), Anna Marie Henderson, Matthew Henderson (Dorothy), Argo Henderson and Phillip Henderson (Deanna).

Margaret dedicated her life to Christ at an early age, and diligently served her church, community, family and employer. Margaret had a servant's heart and was always glad to fill you up with a good scripture and a delicious meal.  Margaret worked for Middletown Regional Hospital for 46 years, she was honored as the employee that worked longer than anyone else in the history of Middletown Regional.

Margaret was preceded in death by her daughters: Anna Mae "Tootney" Henderson and Argo "Trudy" Henderson; husband, Harold Henderson Sr.; sisters, Ella (Robert Sr.) White, Ora (Curtis) Price, Willie Mae Quinn and Eileen (George) Fountain.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Harold Henderson Jr., Matthew Henderson and Phillip Henderson; grandchildren, Carmen (Kofi) Gyebi, Zachary (Tiffanie) Henderson Sr. Trey (Tayler) Henderson, Christina Henderson, Eugene Henderson, Keke Henderson, Lawrence Henderson, Lori Henderson, Storm Henderson, Elizabeth Henderson, Matthew Henderson and Phillip Henderson Jr.; great-grandchildren, Zora Gyebi, Cyann Henderson, Zachary Henderson Jr. Zemoria Henderson, Jayden Henderson, Ryland Henderson and Carter Henderson; special niece, Rhonda Arnold and a host of family and friends.
