Marcie's heart was full of love and compassion. She gave the gift of life through organ donation. Marcie shared her love and part of her life in Louisiana being a longtime friend/sister to Dawn and Robin and an auntie/nanny to their children and many others.
As a child, I spent my best summers in Louisiana with Aunt Marcie, who was more like a mother than my Auntie. Saying farewell to someone who has been a part of our life is never simple. A void is left in our hearts once that person has passed away. While some of you knew Marcie better than others, all of you are here to pay tribute to her because she significantly impacted our life. In each of our lives, Marcie played a variety of roles. She was a mother to some people, but was also their favorite aunt, sister, cousin, wife, and friend.
In addition, from early infancy, Marcie became a mother figure and a huge part of Jemir's life after tragically losing his mother. She loved her furry friends Little Mama and Castle and many others. They were here children. She was dearly loved and had many relatives and friends whom she loved dearly. She was the life of the party and loved eating seafood, camping, dancing, and being with her family. With her knowledge, beauty, and sense of humor, Marcie always sought to improve the lives of those around her. She was the most trustworthy and devoted person you could ever meet. She was also an excellent listener and cook. Auntie, you will be forever missed.
