Keith Glenn Bronston, Jr.

Keith G. Bronston Jr. was born September 14, 1974 to Keith and Maria Bronston in Cincinnati, OH. He slept away peacefully and entered into eternity on June 20, 2022. He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church.

Keith graduated from Princeton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. After graduating, he returned to Cincinnati and began his professional career at altafiber, formerly Cincinnati Bell, as a Senior Manager- Customer Proposals & Contracts, where he remained a dedicated employee until the end.

In 1997 he became a proud father to Kiomi Hughes. On October 10, 2020 he married his longtime partner, Sonya Thomas. He was a great provider to his family. Keith frequently opened his home to others, was a dog-dad to Prince and Sonny, and affectionally referred to his cousins as ‘cuzzo.’

Keith excelled in academics and athletics and had a passion for baseball. He was a second and third baseman in AAU youth baseball and was awarded a D1 college scholarship. He continued his love of the game through participating in softball tournaments, coaching little league and mentoring high school athletes. Keith was a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He enjoyed music and would often curate unique mixes. He loved watching sports and was a BBQ grill master.

Despite illness, Keith kept a positive attitude toward life. He exemplified extraordinary strength, courage and determination until his transition.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Sonya, daughter Kiomi Hughes of Orlando,FL, step-son Aaron Thomas; parents Maria and Keith Bronston Sr.; brother Steven (Carmen) Bronston, nephew Isaac; goddaughter, Alexis Sanders, and her sisters, Kennedy and Khlye Sanders, whom he loved as his surrogate goddaughters; his loving brothers-in-law: David T., David W., Guy (Christine) W. & sisters-in-law: Shirletta H., Margo (Terrance) I., Cindy (Ethel) T., Mary (David) Bowen; four aunts, three uncles and a host of cousins , family and friends.
