Katherine Elizabeth Rutledge

Katherine Elizabeth Rutledge was born December 9, 1942 to Crawford and Annie Rutledge both of whom preceded her in death.  Katerine made a peaceful transition from this earthly life to her heavenly mansion in God’s Kingdom on October 3, 2023; there she will no longer experience any more pain or sorrow.

Katherine was full of life and enjoyed every moment of it. She enjoyed being around her family and friends. Those who loved her enjoyed her presence as well.  If she wasn’t with her family, she was playing bingo.

Katherine was a graduate of Dayon Dunbar High School. She both worked for and attended Sinclair Community College.

Katheine was preceded death by her four brothers, Emerson Rutledge, Leon Rutledge, Robert Rutledge and Calvin Rutledge along with her three sisters, Joann Rutledge, Margie Rutledge and Annie Prior.

She leaves to mourn her precious memory: two daughters, Marlene Saucer and Vernetta Rutledge; one sister, Vernetta Green; three brothers, James Rutledge, William Rutledge and Joseph (Veronica) Rutledge; two grandchildren, Craig E. Wood Jr. and Diana Rutledge; two great grandchildren, Kennedy Jean Rutledge Hill and Cheyenne Cawley; special niece, Venetia Rutledge and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
