John Dunham Belk departed this life April 7, 2022 in Dayton, OH. John was born to Harriet and Willie Belk; both preceded him in death. His brother William Keeton also preceded him in death.
John attended Dunbar High School. He started working in janitorial services but later moved to other fields of work. John was very family oriented and loved cooking for the family and spending time with them and friends. He had an outgoing personality and a zest for life.
John was preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Pauletta Bohanon and granddaughter, Teriyn Belk.
John leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Darrylana Belk; his mother, Rita Thomas; grandchildren, Keyana Belk, Aiden Belk, Deyana Belk and Darrylana Sincere Belk; two brothers, Theodore and Thomas Belk; one sister, Anna Taylor and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
John will surely be missed.
