Jeri Sue Coleman-Robinson, resident of Dayton, OH passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 68 at Ohio Hospice of Dayton after a battle with cancer.
Jeri was born in Dayton on February 16, 1955 to James and Sally Coleman.
She graduated from Fairview High School; After graduation, she attended Central State University. She later worked for HUDD Housing, Digitron, Dryclean 399 and Avery Dennison. She met her husband Douglas at Digitron in 1995 and they have been inseparable ever since.
Jeri loved family gatherings, celebrations, and holidays. Her love language was gift giving and she made sure everyone had a gift under the Christmas tree. She cherished relaxing at home as she listened to the sounds of family laughter. She took pride in filling her home with comfort and love. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking bus trips with family and friends including sports entertainment, shopping, festivals, and casinos.
Jeri was preceded in death by her father, James Coleman: her mother, Sally Fanny Pate and her brothers, Lonnie and Rusty Coleman.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Robinson Sr.; siblings, brother, Ronnie Coleman and sister, Joyce Nichols; children. Jeffery Coleman Sr., Jimeca Coleman, Jody Coleman Sr., Jason (Monica) Coleman, Jeree Coleman, Douglas (Jasmine) Robinson Jr. and Chanele (Clifton) Robinson-Rucker; grandchildren, Donald, Jeffery Jr, Marcus Jr, Jeremy, Markeem, Jenai, Jody Jr, Clifton Jr, Christian, Kevin III, Elijah, December, Dallas, Caleb, Ryan, Olyviah, Caydon; great grandchildren, Jediah, Markeem Jr. and Milani along with a host of relatives and very dear friends.
