Mother Rubenia Ida Belle Camp was born on January 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Reuben and Ellen Bodine. She passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Deacon John H. Camp, son John S. Camp and great-grandson De’Andre “Butter” Crane. Mother Camp was a graduate of Paul L. Dunbar High School in Dayton, class of 1945.
She was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion A.O.H. Church of God, where she served faithfully on the Mother’s Board, was a member of the Sanctuary Choir and proudly served as a trusted confidant to the Pastor.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters; Saundra A. (Will) Ramey, Pamela K. (Jerome) Daniel, sons; Nelson L. Camp and Bryan K. Camp, special sister; Elizabeth A. McClure, special daughters; Elder Mother Minnie B. Jacko and Reverend Vivian K. Moody, special son; Deacon James Chambers, numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; dear cousins Diane, Joyce and Tracey of Cincinnati; lifelong sister-in-Christ, Mother Cora Nalls and a host of special nieces and nephews, the Lamb, Givens, Bodine, McClure and Lee families.
