Horace Gregory Mack

Horace Gregory (Greg) Mack was born July 6, 1952 in Cincinnati, Oh to the union of the late Horace and Alberta Mack.  He was the eldest of three children.  Greg departed this earthly life on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 69 years old.

Greg accepted Jesus Christ as his savior as a young person at Revelation Baptist Church on 1556 John Street where he was a faith member.  Greg loved the Lord; he continued his Christian journey at Lincoln Heights Baptist Church where he served on the Transportation and Male Chorus ministries.  He concluded his spiritual walk at Corinthian Baptist Church.

Greg was a proud graduate of Hughes High School where he enjoyed playing the tuba in the marching band, running cross country and was a star basketball player who received a scholarship to The University of Cincinnati.  He was a committed Masonic brother and served as Secretary and Worshipful Master at Corinthian Lodge #1. Prince White Lodge #1, St. John Lodge #3 and Kings Solomon Consistory #20.  

Greg proudly served The Hamilton County Board of Elections for 34 years where he met every voter with a smile.  He was also well-respected as a member of the Advisory Board for Metro.  Greg loved music and he had a beautiful voice to march his pristine penmanship.

Greg leaves to cherish his memory: dear friend and confidant, Gloria D. Mack and their beloved children, Stephen (Deai), Serrica and Serrita (Marcus); his seven beautiful grandchildren, Liea, Stephen, Jr., Cedric. Chayse, Terryn, Moriah and Mayori; two sisters, Joyce (Paul) and Dr. Yvonne (William); his nephew, Dean (Tanya); niece, Demica and a host of family and friends.
