Grady Calhoun, Jr. Obituary

Grady D. Calhoun, Jr. was born November 18,1950 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Grady David Sr., and Charlotte Mae Calhoun. He was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio. He peacefully departed this life on May 30, 2021, with his wife at his bedside.

He was a graduate of Middletown High School, class of 1969. He worked at Voith Sulzer Escher Wyss, he retired after 30 years of devoted service which required him to travel extensively.

He enjoyed fishing with family and friends. He coached Pee Wee Football and knothole baseball. He accepted Christ at an early age at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. He later joined New Era Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grady D. Calhoun, Sr., his mother, Charlotte Mae Calhoun, two brothers Richard D. Moore and Dan E. Calhoun, a son, Brian (Boogie) Bryant and a grandson, Kapriece Fuller.

He leaves to cherish his devoted and loving wife of 39 years, Marchita J. Calhoun, a daughter, Kenyatta Calhoun, a son Taj (Nicole) Calhoun. Two sisters Ann (Jesse) Logan of Dayton, Ohio and Anita (Jeff) Storey. Two grandsons, Keyontae Holbrook and Eugene Wright. One great-grandson Blake Fuller. A host of nieces and nephews and a multitude of relatives and friends.
