Geraldine Dunson

Geraldine "Gerri" (Booker) Dunson was born to Gordon and Bessie Lewis on December 22, 1946. She was a blessing to Claude and Magnolia Booker who raised her as their own. Gerri departed this life on October 2, 2021, surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. Geraldine graduated Garfield Senior High School and had a diverse set of occupations throughout her life. She took pride in her most important role, "Grandma". She loved her grandchildren and children (babies) as a whole. Gerri was joined in marriage to Andrew Dunson. This union produced 2 children Kelli and Gina "Nicci". She was preceded in death by both sets of her parents, a sister Camilla, a brother Robert, a granddaughter Ashley, and great-granddaughter Keilee. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Kelli (Dwayne) Gregory, and Gina "Nicci" Dunson; grandchildren, Shavonne, Destiny (King), Jovon, Joseph Jr., Shayla and Shanese; 13 great-grandchildren including Kelani Nicole who she'll be guiding through birth; 2 brothers, James "Jimmy" (Sarah) Lewis and Gordon Lewis; a sister, Lula Eubanks and a host of family and friends including her long-time friend, Mary Jane Shumard.
