Gail Jones-Melson

Gail L. Melson Jones, age 63 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on May 20, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.   She was born October 21, 1958.

She was a loving mom to all who knew her.  She was all about fashion.  She loved her clothes, shoes and purses.

She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Ann Shanita Carlisle; her parents, Robert (Skippy) and Billy Ann Jones and her two sisters, Charlotte Shephard and Jacqueline L. Jones-Cates.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Thomas Melson; her three sons, Rashem Jones, Matthew (Keisha) Jones and Dale (Kalimah) Jones; two honorary sons, Dee Jolly and Mark Brewer; two brothers, Larry Parks and Joe Echols, Jr.; four sisters, Robin McLemore, Kim (Bennie) Hopkins, Sheila Edwards and Donna Jones; numerous grandchildren; the apple of her eye, Dal’Maya Jones (Dot) as well as her fur babies, Sheba and Tiny along with a hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
