Elvira Holland

Elvira Holland of Middletown, Ohio transitioned from this earthly life to eternity on January 22, 2023.  She was born on April 22, 1926 in Uniontown, Alabama to Simon and Sally (Stevens) Johnson. She was the youngest of twelve children.

Elvira received her education in Uniontown, Alabama.  She was employed as a short order cook and house hold help.  She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking and sewing.  Elvira was a member of New Era Baptist Church and loved the Lord.  She was a caring and jovial person who will be cherished and missed.

Elvira was preceded in death by her husband, RC Holland.  She leaved to cherish her memory: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
