Ellen Patricia Tester

Ellen Patricia Tester was born on December 15, 1953 in Liberal, Kansas to the late John D. and Dorothy E. (Kelly) Ford. She passed away unexpectedly on August 25. 2019 in Middletown, where she had lived for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years Jerry Lee Tester, (son) Jerome Lee Tester, (grandson) James Daniel Reed, (niece) Marea M. Hedges, along with countless other family members and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories (daughter) Kelly C. Tester, (sister) Kathy (Larry) Mauldin, (niece) Heather (Kevin) Moore, and Anne (James) Convy, (grand children) Jacob (Charlene) Reed, Isaac (Becca) Reed, Gabriel Hensley, Angel Tester, joseph Tester, Alexis Tester, Katelyn Tester, McKenzie Fields, and Bradley Patton, (sister-in-law) Alice (Dallas) Hedges, (brother-in-law) Austin (Betty) Tester, 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Special friends and family Mary (Niel)Collins, Pamela Simpson, Sheryl (Fred) Turner, The Gibson Family, Melody (Smoke) Neace and like a daughter Melissa Migda. She is also survived by her dog Rodney, her cat (Baby Girl), and many special nieces and nephews. Ellen was a member of the Catholic Church her whole life. She graduated in 1971 and had some college, Ellen was a loving and caring person, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She offered advice, listened and always had a shoulder to cry on when she needed. She loved to watch wild life outdoors, spend time with family and friends, puzzles, art work, sewing, fishing, playing cards, reading and loved doing many other things. She always was full of life and kept her self-busy. She loved all animals. She will always be loved and missed by many people. Ellen fought many tough battles and never stopped praying. She was a very strong woman and a survivor. She also was a lifelong home maker. She will be joined in heaven by many family members and friends.
