Eddie Lewis Abbott

Eddie Lewis Abbott, Age 70, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on November 13th, 2020.

"A graduate of Roosevelt High School in the year 1968. He went on to join the Air Force in 1971.  In his spare time, he loved playing his guitar, listening to music, thrift store shopping, cutting hair, watching tv his favorite show Rifle man and talking on the phone to friends and family for countless hours telling many stories.  This is how he got his nickname (GAB) because he loved to talk. He was a man full of knowledge and wisdom.  A musician at heart who was part of several bands and met a lot of famous people.  He traveled to many places such as; St. Louis, Missouri, Dallas, Texas, Vegas and Muskogee, Oklahoma where he also, lived for a short time.  "He was an amazing father, uncle, brother, papa, and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Sharon Abbott.

Five daughters, Lisa Abbott, Letitia (Bryant) Ballard, Edie Abbott, Thenda (Quenton) Walker and Melissa Moore of Oklahoma.  Two sons, Sterling Love Wade Sr. of Pennsylvania and Eddie Moore of Oklahoma.

Grandchildren, Aaron Loxley, Bryant Ballard, Destini’ Carlton, Gerald Wilder III, Shawn Gilbert Jr., Lavontay Andrews, Que’Mora Walker, Qar’Ter Walker, Sterling love Wade Jr. Brianna Dixon Wade, Olivia Wade, Bryce Wade, Adasha Moore, Jayla Moore, Maliyah Moore, Jalen Moore and Brandon Moore.

Sisters, Donna Ishman, Patricia Scott, Constance Scott, and Diane Scott. Brothers, Ronald Abbott of North Carolina, Randy Scott and Jamel Gay Sr. along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
