David Warren Valines, Jr.
David Warren Valines, Jr. was born March 2, 1966 Cincinnati, OH to David Warren Valines, Sr. and Jacqueline Valines. Cincinnati was also the place his family choose to raise him. On Wednesday, April 7, 2021 David went to be with the Lord.
David attended Woodward High School. While attending high school, he found a true love for carpentry. With this passion he decided to enroll in Job Corp in Indiana where he picked up the trades of glazing, carpentry, electrician and plumbing.
David was a loving husband, father, brother, son, grandpa and so much more. David gave his life to Christ at a young age. His dedication to God and his family shined through his personality and actions. David never met a stranger. If you ever needed help, David was one call away! Besides his love for family, God, carpentry and his church, he was a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan.
With David’s passion, he applied it to every aspect of his life. He was a faithful member of Citygate Church for over 12 years. While at Citygate he served as an Usher, Liaison, and on the Safety Team.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Valines.
David leaves to mourn his passing; his loving and devoted wife of 6 years, Kelly Gunnels-Valines; his parents, David Warren Valines, Sr. and Jacqueline Valines; his siblings, Lenord Valines, Candi Valines and Starr Valines; 3 brothers in law, Bernard Craig, Albert Blair and Ramone Gunnels; 2 sisters in law Crystal Blair and Johnnetta Rone.
He was also a devoted and loving father that cherished his children with all his heart. David Warren Valines, III (Amanda Valines), Desmond Jay Valines (Jasmine Valines), Danielle (Nikki) Valines, Angel Valines, Davihanna Valines and Anton Bray, Jr. (Naudia Brunner).
With all the love that David has to give he leaves behind 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family members to carry on memories.
