David Antonio McGowan

David Antonio McGowan was born February 18, 1986,  He was the second oldest of five children.  David was a child that loved technology which led him to Butler Tech/D. Russel Lee where he started videography, programming, networking, database design, software system analysis, etc.

David graduated from Middletown High School then continuing his education at Butler Tech/D. Russel Lee where he was also a graduate.  David attended Wright State University, then transferred to Miami University where he graduated with an associate degree.  Ever since high school, David held various jobs that he loved and had very good work ethics.  David was a man of few words.  In sickness and health, David was determined to do thinks his way; like it or not.

David was a big asset to Faith Fellowship.  He assisted in the production Department where he built programs for the church services, made videos, CDs and even took on roles in plays.  David also taught his sisters how to work the system in his absence.  David was a gentle and well-mannered young man that loved the Lord and prayed like it.

As his brother, Patrick stated, “David got a glimpse of heaven.  He was walking right; his hairline was tight.  God told him he could go back but David said (“Nah”) for what!  I will see them again!”

David was preceded in transition into eternal life by his grandmother, Dr. Eloise Trust McGowan.

David leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Dr. Lynn McGowan; sisters, Eriana Russell, Perez Russell and Tiara Watson; brothers, Patrick Hill, Jr. and Derek (Kelli) Thomas, Jr.; honorary brothers, Tony Ramsey, Thomas Paige, Larry Nelms, James Nelms and Chaz Hart; aunts, Ghana McGowan, Farisa (Mi-Mi) McGowan and Naisha Burns; uncles, Arvin (Kim) McGowan and Perry McGowan; nieces Cionna, Cierra, Cin’Ceare; nephews, Tray’Vonne, Tray’Shawan, and Tray ’Leve; great nephew, Julian; special aunt, Car-La Kani Conyor and a host of other family and friends.
