Cynthia Roxanne Truss

Sister Cynthia Roxanne Truss was born on November 11, 1970 to Charles and Corliss (Mack) Truss, in Clovis, New Mexico.  The family relocated to Middletown, Ohio where she attended Middletown High School, graduating in 1989. Cynthia studied at Carousel Beauty College, graduating with a Managing Cosmetologist License; she later attended ITT Technical Institute graduating in 1999.  She enthusiastically served as an Educator with Natural Beauty Products in Middletown, Ohio.

Cynthia was brought to the Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio at about the age of five. Growing up with her siblings and church family, Cynthia met no strangers.  Later in her teens when Cynthia faced many physical challenges, she always depended on the prayers of the ministry and saints.  Cynthia was saved in November of 2005, and her life then glowed with the glory of God.  Through many physical trials, she kept her faith in God, and he proved true to her in performing many wonderful healings.  Her presence always brought brightness; she always had time to consider others with a great sense of love, wisdom and concern for each individual.

She victoriously departed to be with her heavenly father on April 6, 2021 in Middletown, Ohio.

Sister Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Corliss Deborah Carr; her sister, Delinda Yvette Truss; grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Mack; grandmothers, Muriel Truss and Henrietta Sue Looney; aunt, Cassandra Patterson and first cousin, Lajuera Nicole Mack.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Nadia Roxanne Jenkins and son, Doryn Palmer Truss both of Middletown, OH; father, Charles Truss Sr.  (wife) Michele of Seattle, WA; siblings, Jody Gibbs (husband) Jeffrey Middletown, OH, Charles Truss II (Wife) Michelle of Middletown, OH, Desmond Carr (wife) Monisha of Centerville OH, Jennifer Carr and Donovan Carr, Middletown, OH, Joseph Truss, Myka Truss and Ellis Holifield, Seattle WA, Joy Lynne Gray of Florida and stepfather, Donald Carr of Middletown OH; her beloved nieces, Yria Imari Daborah Carr, Mailani Jennifer Christine Carr and Sierra Nicole Bolling, along with a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
