Clister Miliner Jordan

Mrs. Clister Miliner Jordan, age 86 passed away January 7, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. Clister was born in Eclectic, Alabama on October 13,1935 to Charlie Miliner and Verlie Miliner (Scroggins). Clister was the oldest of 9 children. Her family relocated to Dayton, Ohio in 1950.

As a teenager she loved music, performing dance and song as much as she could. Clister was a phenomenal and achieving woman.  Early in her career, Clister worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Later in life, she worked for the Veterans Administrative Center for many years before retiring.

Clister married Bobbie L. Jordan in 1958. To this union five children were born. Clister was a loving and caring wife, grandmother and sibling.  She took a remarkable role in bringing up her grandchildren.

Clister is now at peace with her wonderful husband of 64 years. Clister lived to see five generations of her life.

Clister was preceded in death by husband; both parents; close cousin, Johnny Johnson; brother, Charles Miliner; 3 sisters, Elois Blue, Betty Wilkes, and Toya Miliner Alexandra; granddaughters, Yvette and Yvonne Burney and great granddaughter, Liberty Rose.

Clister leaves to Cherish her memory: 5 children Brenda, Bonnita, Kathryn, Bobbie Jr. and Cassandra; 4 siblings, JoAnn Forward (Levell) ; Kenneth Miliner (Robin), Patricia Miliner, Cyril Miliner; 12 grandchildren, Ronita, Alvin, Kristyna, Bobbie, Dwayne, Thurman, Clister, Bryon Jr., Briana, Kameron, Adriana, Adam, Alyah; 14 great grandchildren, Destyne, Alvin, Davon, Jymmia, Tra'Velle, Jalen, Blessing, Tristian, Jasiyah, Damarion, Bre'Lyn, Jaire, Treylen, Byron III, Damani; 4 great great grandchildren, Jaz'Anea, MarKhi, Anthony, and Demetrius along with a host of other family and friends.
