Claudia Lee Collins

Claudia Lee Collins was born May 11, 1959 in Byhalia, MS to the union of Robert Collins, Sr. and Epsie Collins.

She was educated in the Hamilton City School District and served as a faithful member to Bethel Baptist Church.  She was a member of the kitchen committee where she served thousands of families and children over the years.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Claudia was blessed with a loving daughter, Tamika L. Collins; three granddaughters, Nikia Smiley, Nakaya Smiley and Naudia Collins; two great grandchildren, Jahir

Smiley and Naulyjah Collins whom she loved.

Claudia spent her time enjoying life.  She loved to sing various blues songs.  “I Ain’t Gonna Let Nothing Bother Me” and “Last Two Dollars” were a couple of her favorites.  She danced and cooked while caring for others. 

Her presence was always a joy.  She made many smile with her jokes and catch phrases like, “Imagine That” and “You picked’em”.  The one thing she always shared with everyone was love.  Laughter was always in the air;  not a dull moment.  When she lived, she lived her life for herself and those around her.  Claudia will truly be missed by all the lives she touched.

She leaves her memories to be cherished by her daughter, Tamika L. Collins; mother Epsie Collins; siblings, Vina (Dexter) Burns, LaNee (Larry Parker), Yvonne Collins, Robert Collins, Jr., Portia (Curtis) Walker and Tito Collins along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Collins, Sr and her sister, Leslie Webb; special cousin, Linda Tinsley (Rest In Peace); special friends, James “Buddy” Keys and Dee Dee Rome.
