Christopher Alexander Obituary

Christopher Alexander, Sr., was born in Chesnee, South Carolina on January 13, 1951, to Lindsey L. Alexander and Mary Alexander (nee Roberson). He was affectionately known as Chris by all of his family and friends. He departed this life on May 18, 2022, at the age of 71 years old surrounded by family.

Christopher attended Withrow High School. He later attended Southern Ohio College where he studied Drafting. He was employed by The CJ Krehbiel Company in Fairfax, Ohio for 25 years from which he retired in 2016.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights. He met the love of his life, Andrea (Angie) Alexander, in 1968 at the young age of 18 years old. They married three years later on April 26, 1971. From this union nine children were born, five boys and four girls. Chris's family was his pride and joy. It was rare to see him without Angie. The pair were inseparable.

Cookouts and gatherings were often held at their home where friends and family would often come together. All knew they were welcome. You would often see Chris and Angie fast and slow dance, even at the age of 71 years old after 51 years of marriage. Their kids and grandkids could not keep up with them. He was proud of all of his children and grandchildren whom he was often heard bragging about.

Christopher leaves to cherish his precious memory: his wife of 51 years, Andrea Alexander; children, Alicia Moore, Cynthia Alexander (Carl), Christopher Alexander Jr, Reginald Alexander, Sheraina N. Alexander, Shawn Alexander, Keith Alexander, Aaron Alexander and Ashley Alexander (Erik);  his grandchildren, Mikaela Moore, Marcus Moore, Bryson Alexander, Destiney Alexander, Natia Alexander, Nathanial (Nate) Alexander, Myles Blackwell, Camden Blackwell, Rylan Kalaitzoglou, Kingston Kalaitzoglou, and Alena Kalaitzoglou and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Lindsey Alexander, mother Mary Sims, brother Joseph Roberson Sr., sister Christine Alexander and sister Linda M. Alexander.
