Chester Royshelle Arnold was born October 20, 1952 to William Arnold and Annie Kate Davis. He was the youngest of four siblings; Henry, Ann and Gracie.
Chester graduated from Princeton High School in 1972. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1976. Even after leaving the military, he continued giving back to his community by working for the Veterans Administration Hospital for over 30 plus years; retiring in 2015.
At the age of 20, he married Jessie Lorraine Thomas and to that union Herronda Aundrey was born. Later in life, he met, Josephine Boyd and blessed with Chester Arnold, Jr.
He had a passion for music and throwing parties to utilize his DJ skills. You couldn’t tell him anything about Chetmo mixing on the 1.2’s He also loved sports, both basketball and football. If you ever needed a work out coach, you could call Chester Arnold and he would get you together.
Chester suffered from a stroke October 19, 2020. He fought a good fight until January 11, 2021 when he peacefully transitioned from this earth.
Chester is survived by his children; Herronda and Chester (Patricia) and his six grandchildren; Titana, Corey, Craig Jr., Christopher, Kamil and Ceion, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins.
