Cheryl Jackson peacefully transitioned from her earthly tabernacle to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Cheryl was born on July 22, 1958 in Oxford, Ohio, to the late Wince and Willie C. (Smith) Morris.
She graduated from Talawanda High School in Oxford Ohio and attended Christian Life School of Theology remotely. She was a faithful employee of Miami University for over 30 years, where she also attended various classes.
Cheryl was the First Lady and active leader of First Baptist. She had such passion for fashion and art, making memories with loved ones, and worshipping the Lord in any way she could. She touched many hearts and spoke words of wisdom to many that they will carry forever. Her nurturing love and warm-hearted personality are unforgettable.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Wince and Willie C. Morris; her mother in-love, Sylvia Chatmon; sisters, Delilah and Monica Morris and brothers-in-love, Leon Render II and Tony Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Pastor Darryl L. Jackson; children, Josiah, Joanna, and Jemiya Jackson; sisters, Min. Debra Burton, Dr. Sandra (John) McIntosh, Priscilla Parks, Dana Render, Jana Byrd, Bridgite (Charles) Dickerson and Michelle Morris; brother, Wince (Kristina) Morris; in-loves, Johnny (Pamela) and Deborah Jackson, Warkoneta Howard Tucker and Elvis Davis; nieces and nephews, Pastor Brandon McIntosh, Amber (Thomas) Barger (Goddaughter), Brianna McIntosh, Jessica Morris, Joshua Parks, Devonte' Duncan, Jarrod Morris, DeMarcus Dickerson, Amare and Raiyah Morris; great nieces and nephews; Kae'la and Kam'ryn Barger, Dallas, Demetrius and Deja Morris-Williams, Nyomi and Akeem Moore, Kingston McIntosh, DeMarcus Dickerson Jr., Delilah Jean Morris, Sofia Sorrano, Ri'Ana Whitmore and Larissa Parks; aunt, Adell Morris (Huntsville, Alabama), cousins, and her extended family, LaDonna Hoskins and the staff of Miami University.
