Angela Tenee Allen-Cottrell

Angela Tenee Allen-Cottrell gained her wings Thursday April 4, 2024. Angela was born to Mildred Allen and Benjamin Howard Sr. on March 17, 1962.

Angela was a loving, wonderful woman with an amazing spirit. To know that about her was to know her. She would make a statement that would have you cracking up laughing, but you would still look at her like, really?  She never had a problem telling you how she felt. And if she gave you a certain look, you knew to leave her alone.

She will truly be missed. Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Alice Martin; mother, Mildred Allen; father, Benjamin Howard S.; daughter, Shanieka Cottrell; sister, Carla Allen; brother, Keith Allen; nephew, Lajuan Black and aunts, Mary Hunter and Patricia Wynn. 

Angela leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Richard Cottrell Sr. children, Charell Cottrell, Richard Cottrell Jr., Rontay Cottrell, Tiana Cottrell, Ceara Cottrell, Carlissa Cottrell, Portcia Cottrell, Taniesha Cottrell and Deoncia Allen; sisters, Kimberly Allen-Alston (Henry) and Glenda Murray (Tyrone); brothers, Mark Allen (Joann) and Benjamin Howard Jr. (Norma); aunt, Bertha Gillespie, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Angela Allen will forever be loved and truly missed.
