Alvie Lamont Hudson, affectionately known as Zhock, was born in Cincinnati, OH to Jean Hudson and Alvin L. Phillips on February 23, 1970. He passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday February 13, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Alvie received his education from Cincinnati Public Schools. He attended Aiken High School and was a member of the wrestling team. He had a passion for education and loved learning.
He lived a life of service dedicating himself to helping others. He was resourceful in his pursuit to acquire wealth and generous with his riches. He gave graciously, providing for all those around him.
His hobbies included boxing, working out, spending time with friends and family, riding motorcycles, and working on cars.
He will forever be remembered as a loving, affectionate father, and a legend by the peers in his community.
Alvie was preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Phillips and Mary Hudson, and his uncle Michael Phillips.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Jean Hudson, his father Alvin L. Phillips, and his longtime love Sheiliece Rouse, of whom he affectionately referred to as his wife. Nine children to include: Latasha Woods, Zhae Hardy, Zha’Quita Davis, Zimone Mason, Zhock Mason (Evett), Charles J. Parker, Zhaeda Neace (Issac), Zukarr Hudson, and Zurri Hudson.
His grandchildren: LaMyra Woods, Iyhana Woods, Zamir Lamont King Hardy, Zhaden Davis, Zaki Shearer, ZyAir Davis, and Christopher Neace.
His Siblings: Rev Alvin Wyatt (Kim), Taffy Davis, Tamerri (TC) Herring, Jeanine Eddins, bonus brother William (Junie) Thompson and bonus sister Elise Thompson, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, extended family, and friends who adored him dearly.
