Alberta Clink’s Life Journey
Mother Alberta Clink age 93 resided in New Miami, Ohio she was born on November 13, 1927 in Talladega, Alabama. Her parents were the late Milton Simmons and Exia Trammel Simmons. Mother Clink was called away early Sunday Morning, May 2, 2021 from her earthly home to her eternal home.
Alberta was united in holy Matrimony to Willie Clink. To this Union was added one son by her late Sister, Betty Moon. Alberta attended school irregularly during her years, but she worked diligently in the agriculture industry.
After some years while living in New Miami she surrendered her life to the Lord and became a member of Christ Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor Willie D. Mack. Several years later she became a member of Upper Room Pentecostal Church in Hamilton, Ohio under the leadership of Pastor Gary Richardson.
Mother Clink enjoyed cooking meals for church members, family and friends. She sponsored several dinners at the church and refused any offer of reimbursement of funds. Everyone that came to the dinner each time appeared to truly enjoy the meal and fellowship. Mother Clink exhibited the spirit of hospitality. During her later years she would ask about the children and give the church fruit and commodities that overwhelmed her cupboards.
Mother Clink was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Clink; five sisters, Rosie Lee McKinzie, Luvenia (Jessie) Hall and Mayhue, Katie Turner, Betty Moon and Mattie Higgins and five brothers, Arthur, Henry, Willie Frank, Bobby and Milton.
Mother Clink leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life; one son, Vincent Richardson of New Miami, Ohio; grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
