Greta Phipps Obituary

Greta Gale Phipps, 54, of Middletown went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 12, 2017. She was born on November 16, 1962 in Kissimmee, Florida. Greta was a very devoted wife, mother, and daughter. She loved her family and her fur baby Brady very deeply. She was very passionate about gardening and landscaping and was wonderful at it. She enjoyed coffee time with her boo, Barney, family get-togethers, crocheting, decorating, shopping, and helping others in need. Greta had a huge heart filled with love. She always found the good in everyone she met. She was a very creative woman who was good at everything she put her mind to. She will live on in all of our hearts and will be dearly missed!

Greta is survived by her husband Barney Phipps of Middletown; her parents Bobby and Mary Ellen Owen of Brookville; her daughter Britney Johnson and son-in-law Ronny of Middletown; her sons Brandon Hitchcock of Cincinnati and Brooks Hitchcock of West Carrollton; three brothers Samuel Barber of Eaton, Matt Barber of Brookville, and Richard Owen of Ludowici, GA; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Greta was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Hitchcock Jr.
