Vera Mae Smith

Mrs. Vera Smith, daughter of late Annie Bell Morris-Kelly and John Young was born August 16, 1956 in Centerville, Alabama. Mrs. Smith obtained employment at Health Tech as a seamstress and later went on to pursue a career at Bibb County High School as a chef. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Union Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member.

Mrs. Smith moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1983 where she became an ordained minister at Universal Church of God’s Love.

She was united in holy matrimony to Willie Smith in January of 1975. This union was blessed with 5 children.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Shonna Bryant, Rodney Morris, Marcus Morris, Dewan Morris, Latonia Smith, Cedric Smith and Regina Miller. Sisters: Christine Edwards, Adele Lee, Lucille Cash, Oscar Brooks, Gennie Morrislugo, Gloria Bolling. Brothers: Leroy Morris, Herman Morris and John Earl.

With a host of grandkids: Sharnise, Shamega, Isaac, Lilly, Kenyi, Jada, Madyson, Malaya, Jakari, Aubrey, Amear, Desiree, Shamiyah, Shanice, Aya, Asia, Dominque and many more.
