Thomas F. Rich, age 79, best friend and beloved husband of 54 years to Anne Marie Rich passed away on November 10, 2018. He was the father of four children, grand father and great grandfather of numerous others. He is also survived by 3 siblings. As president and fund raiser for two terms of Catholic Big Brothers, he was a big brother to four loving “littles” and their families. He was a teacher of Archaeology at UK where he taught summer classes to students on site at various Indian reservations in the southwestern states and Mexico. He worked at Proctor and Gamble for many years and was holder of at least 11 patents. He was known as a “resident inventor.” He was on the parish council at St. Matthias for several years where he helped run several festivals. He was a teacher of adult literacy programs and head-start for pre-school children in Warren County, Ohio. As an officer in the US Navy he served his country in Vietnam. He was also a Kentucky Colonel for many years. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Tom lived most of his life in the Cincinnati area.
