Sha'Na D'Ann Jones-Sherfield

Sha’na D’Ann Jones Sherfield was born November 13, 1987, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Kimberly Wyatt and Kenneth Hall.

Sha’na was truly a joy to be around who would do anything for her family and friends. Sha’na received her primary education from Cincinnati Public Schools and her secondary education from Fairfield high school. Sha’na accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and baptized at Union Baptist Church. Sha’na had no problem getting employment, and she held several jobs in retail. Her last two jobs were at Bob Evans where she worked as a cashier with her dad and Sav-A-Lot in Covington, Kentucky where she worked as a Manager. In 2012, Sha’na’s cousin Matthew introduced her to the love of her life, Lamar Sherfield. After three years of dating, they were married on August 22, 2015, from this union, their son Ja’mir was born and passed away at birth on October 4, 2018. Sha’na loved to clean, cook, listen to old school music, and be around her family. Sha’na loved to babysit and spend time with her nephew Mason, her cousin Cookie, and neighbor Gene. She loved to FaceTime her family and friends more so than texting. She also loved animals, especially her service dog Nino, who was more like her child. Sha’na loved riding the Metro bus to get around. She would often ask the bus driver, “Do you know my momma or my stepdad Alvin?” to get a free ride(lol). While Sha’na could be controversial at times, she was always there when you needed her. We will miss her favorite expressions: “ Hey Boo” “What’s up turkeys” “This & that” and when communicating with her dad “What up A*#?” These were just a few of the humorous ways Sha’na expressed her love to her family and friends. Sha’na will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Sha’na went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2019, at 6:01 p.m. She was preceded in death by, Great Grandfather: Arthur Sheffield Sr., Grandmother: Linda S. Jones, Grandfathers: Roy V. Jones, Fred Hall, Deacon Willie Hall, Son: Ja’mir Sherfield.

Pope (Sarah Jo), Monica Hall, and Kaila Hall; Aunts, Cara McNeal (Earl), Jackie Hall, Crystal Kenyatta, Samona Crooks, Michelle Lugman, Terrie Pate (Rev. Shawn), Marcia Cook(Frank), Vera Hall and Mary Holston; Uncles, Clifton Jones(Kim), Santana Jones, William Hall(Tina), and Willie Hall II; Nephews, Mason and Kenneth; Special Friend, Tyra James; and a host of other relatives and friends.
