Orlando Wayne Breedlove was born July 2, 1936 in Morristown, Tennessee to the late Burnell and Donna (Ray) Breedlove. He received his wings on, Monday November 4, 2019.
In his early twenties, Orlando moved to Middletown, Ohio where he met and married the love of his life, Betty Jean (Hart) Breedlove. From this union, six children were born.
Orlando and Betty joined Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Betty’s uncle, the late Rev. Herbert Hart and followed the church to Tried Stone Baptist, where he proudly became a Deacon as well as a member of the Mass Choir and Male Chorus.
Orlando was a loving and kind hearted man who loved nothing more than God and his Family, and lived his life accordingly working two full time jobs for over 30 years. His sole mission was to serve God and care for his family, which he graciously and lovingly did up until his death.
In Orlando’s spare time, he loved playing golf and attending family outings at the park or drive-in movies. Those who knew Orlando Wayne knows his love for sweets and cakes were great, and up to his parting, he was eating cakes and sweets on a daily basis. A special thanks to Marilyn Merrida for all you the special cakes and sweets she made especially for him. Marilyn’s German Chocolate cake was his absolute favorite!
Orlando was preceded in death by his Parents, brother Burnell Breedlove Jr., and his older sister, Norma (Breedlove) Burnett. He was also preceded in death by his great grandson, Julian Shores and special nephews, Larry Breedlove and Richard Runells.
