Nora Jane Anderson

Nora Jane Anderson, 62 passed away at her home in Annapolis, Maryland on July 22, 2019.

Nora was born in Middletown, Ohio to Vivian “Vick” C. Anderson and Jean C. Allen Anderson on March 11, 1957.  She graduated Middletown High School in 1975 and later studied at Miami University (Ohio).  In Maryland, Nora worked as a receptionist at IRONMARK, located in Annapolis Junction. She enjoyed birdwatching, going to the beach, arts and jazz festivals, traveling, discovering new places of interest and reading. Nora was a passionate artist who loved both painting and jewelry making.  One of her greatest joys was doing arts and crafts with her granddaughter, Zoё.    

Nora is preceded in death by her son Stephen T. Anderson, her father Vivian “Vick” C. Anderson, her beloved Reba Hart and her brother Michael E. Allen, Sr. 

She is survived by her mother Jean C. Allen Anderson, her brothers and sisters, Carl S. Anderson (Stephanie), AuDrene E. Anderson, Pamela J. Anderson, Victor E. Anderson, Eva D. Anderson and Embry E. Anderson, her son Kenneth and daughter-in-law Ede Anderson, and granddaughter Zoё.

Visitation will begin Friday August 2nd, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, Second Baptist Church 116 S. Verity Parkway Middletown, Ohio 45044.  Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Family will greet friends immediately after the service in the fellowship hall. The family will hold a private burial/interment service Saturday morning at Woodside Cemetery. A memorial and ash scattering service along the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland will take place in the coming weeks; details forthcoming.
