Nannie L. Stewart

Nannie L. Stewart departed this life on August 14, 2019 at 12:47pm and returned to the Lord at age 76. A Tennessee native, she was born on December 6, 1942. She enjoyed many years as a country girl but later she moved to the Ohio valley. She found enjoyment in cooking, traveling, playing cards and spending precious time with her family. She loved to laugh, crack jokes and talk plenty of stuff while dipping her snuff, she was always a phone call away. She was kind hearted, giving and that beautiful smile of hers will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving companion of many years Ceasar Simpson, her parents Earnest G. Cody and Luverta Cody-Reynolds; two sisters Hallie Cody and Mildred Wells; two brothers G. L. Cody and Lathan Cody.

She leaves to cherish her most precious memories her five children Michael and Robin both of Dayton, OH, Larry (Quintina) of Columbus, OH, Darrick (Antoinette) and Martha both of Dayton, OH; 15 grandchildren Aaron, Darrell, Darrick Jr., Darrius, Davontay, Destiny, Diamond, Erika, Jerrod, Larry Jr., Marvin, Shanta (Sellick), Shawnta, Sherria and Quinton (Janee) all of Ohio; 20 great grandchildren and a host of special relatvies and 3 very close friends: Ms. Ann, Ms. Charlotte and Ms. Fuddy.
