Maurice Lester Wilson

Maurice Lester Wilson was born on February 24, 1947 on the Southside of Chicago.  He was born to the late Maurice E. Wilson and Minnie Louise McCall.  Maurice was the oldest of four children. He was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2019
 
Maurice accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Holy Angel Catholic Elementary School and Hyde Park High School in Chicago, Illinois.
 
Maurice joined in holy matrimony to Frances Jean Wilson on September 30, 1978.  Maurice was a hard worker and had several jobs in Cincinnati. Maurice was affectionately known as “Cool Reese.”  He was very laid back and down to earth. He was like an uncle to most. He will be missed by everyone.
 
Maurice was proceeded in death by both parents; step- father William McCall; his wife Frances Wilson; two sons Rashawn and Marcellus (Corky) Wilson; brother William Wilson and one grandson Derrick Thomas.
 
Maurice leaves to cherish his memory two daughters Belinda Thomas and Tracie Wilson-Meeks ( Rodney); two brother Alfred Wilson and Calvin (Shanita) Wilson; eight grandchildren Jamale Thomas, Jasmine Thomas, Deantrei Goodwin, Damon Thomas, Tre’vor Wilson, Zareah Nelson, Dante Matthews and Asha Wilson; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
