Maria A. Davis

Maria Antoinette Davis born September 16th,1953 to Clarence Jones and Gennotris Slater in Alexandria, Virginia went home to be with the Lord September 18th, 2019 to join her loving husband Edgar William Davis Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons Edgar William Davis III, Dante M. (Tanisha) Davis and one daughter Angela Y. Davis. As they were lovingly named Granny's babies Tiffany Y Vinson, Edgar William (Ty'Juan) Davis IIII, Mahliak Davis, Moriah Davis, Destinee Davis, Isus Davis, Isaac Davis, Gabriel Davis and Gianna Davis and 8 great grandchildren. Two loving sisters Melinda Jones and Karen (Earl) Brewster. Loving cousins raised as sisters in Fayetteville, North Carolina, best friend and sister in law Darlene Chapman, lifelong friend Joey Shields and a host of church family and friends. Maria, a strong warrior who greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and comedic personality. She was known for her amazing style of hats, clothes and shoes. Throughout the years she made many forever friendships with the “motley crew” at Taco Bell. The Center of Hope where she was lovingly named Madea. Anyone that came in contact with her was forever changed.
